Privacy Policy and Google Ads

About a month or so ago I noticed that the ads from Google Adsense in my sidebar and below my posts weren't showing.  I didn't think too much of it at first and thought it was some kind of weird glitch.

After a few weeks they still weren't there.  I thought it might be my computer, so I still wasn't concerned.  Then I tried reinstalling the widgets and other fun techie type things.  Nothing worked.

Finally, someone from the Google Help forum told me that I needed to have a privacy policy.

I obviously don't do thisfor the moolah,  I actually find some pretty interesting things through their ads just like you do. (although, I never click on my own ads!).  Also, I didn't realize it at first, but I think my visitor numbers also began to fluctuate around the same time that the ads stopped.  I'm just putting two and two together now and thinking Etcetorize is probably not showing up on searches either.

Resistance is futile

So, in an effort to become compliant with Google Adsense so that they'll start to show up again, here is the Privacy Policy for Etcetorize.  I used a generator from freeprivacypolicy.com .

Basically, I do not collect private information and I certainly would never, ever sell private information.  From time to time, if you leave a comment I will respond, and I try to send a welcome message to anyone who becomes a follower.  If you enter a contest and I need to get in touch with you to let you know you've won a great prize I'll also send a private email directly to you.  That's really about it.
